Wander through the colorful market, shop for Provençal fabrics -- bring swatches if you want to redecorate a room or dress a kitchen table -- baskets, herbs, olive wood and lavender products, then visit the art galleries, crafts boutiques, and jewelry stores. You might want to tour the chateau with magnificent fireplaces and doors, and the 18th century church which was built above a Roman building. LUNCH: We invite you to a delightful lunch with wine. ![]() After lunch we will drive to a valley surrounded by lavender fields for a view and photos of the Abbaye de Sénanque, one of the purest examples of Romanesque architecture. Then we'll visit the Lavender Museum which displays antique copper stills and explains diferent distillation processes. The museum's boutique sells excellent lavender products. Afterwards we will stop at Pont Julien, a 1st-century Roman bridge named after Julius Cesar. DINNER: Dinner on your own if you wish. Follow these links
